Fentum flute sold yesterday on ebay

Irish Flute

Hi there, did anyone win the H. Fentum flute on ebay yesterday? The following:

I would LOVE to know how it sounds, etc.

The stamp dates it to before 1844: H. Fentum lived at 17 Northumberland St. Strand London and from 1834 until 1844 he advertised his flutes with that very address; then, in 1844 he started stamping his flutes with Fentum 78 Strand London (which is what I have). In order, H (Henry) Fentum flutes have the following addresses: 17 Northumberland (from 1834 to 1837); 6 Surrey Street Strand (1838); then 17 Northumberland again until 1844 when we see 78 Strand.

Aha! Congrats! Great it’s going to someone who knows and appreciates Fentums

Mine was recently restored by Chris Wilkes who spent a while with it, liked it a lot. Anyway, I would be very interested to know what the one you just bought is like. Enjoy!
