If you’re anywhere remotely near upstate NY, you might be interested in this concert at the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall. One of the greatest acoustic halls in the world, with lots of terrific restaurants within walking distance.

Irish fiddle virtuoso Hayes and American master guitarist Cahill are known for slow-building, fiery performances that push Irish music to its limits. For this performance, they are joined by Master Scottish fiddler Alasdair Fraser, cellist Natalie Haas and Bruce Molsky on guitar, fiddle and banjo. It’s traditional Irish music at its best!

I recommend going. Here in Portland, we saw Alasdair Fraser and Natalie Haas alone, and they are amazing. Too bad it’s in New York.
