For sale - Aulos baroque Grenser flute, the matte black version (i.e. - the more expensive one), asking $280 which includes flute, case, shipping and insurance anywhere in the lower 48 United States.
According to the earlyflute list, the matte black Aulos has better intonation than the shiny one. Personally, I can tell you this is a very nice playing flute. It’s at A=440, and it is fully chromatic with cross-fingerings and all. It’s in as new condition, has the case and the original pamphlet with fingerings that came with the flute. I’m it’s first and only owner to date. I’m selling only because I don’t need three flutes and my 4 key Sweetheart flute is meeting all my chromatic needs at this point, so I feel it should move to a home where it will be played.

Edit: forgot to mention the flute has a cool adjustable cork/screw type of contraption so you can move the cork by simply turning the end cap. Also, the key seals perfectly, has a cork pad, so you’ll likely never need to replace it.

McGurks pub, which has lots of biggish
rooms. The teachers session in one
and others in others. You might

I’ve attended several of these and
always been glad. The workshops last
a long time; always a quantum leap
forward in my playing. The concert
at Sheldon Hall
is wonderful, and the price of the
workshops gest you a free ticket.

which we take over. Copeland often shows up
along with Mike Burke. Pipes, bodran,
fiddles, all there.
