Does John Sindt offer a C body that will fit the D head? If so how much is the extra body? Thanks
Constance
No, I’m afraid he doesn’t. There is
an extra body for the Bb/A combo,
I believe.
Jim is right, John makes a Bb tube to fit the A headpiece, an Eb tube for the D headpiece, and I’m not sure but I think I read somewhere here that he is now making a C# whistle. I don’t know if the tube for that would fit D or C headpiece.

Well, as you read it isn’t an option. What I would like to see is a D body that fits the wider bore C head with configuration for a two finger C natural. Never hurts to dream ![]()

David, DREAM NO MORE!!! Reyburn Low Whistles
(believe it or not) has just finished two new prototypes of a High D and High C that share the same head. Both play with a two finger C nat.
I wasn’t gonna say anything til’ after I showed them to Joanie Madden after her concert (Cherish The Ladies) at the Craterian in Medford, OR. on April 5th, but David I just couldn’t resist your post.
Ronaldo
Thanks Scott and Jim! Do either of you know what John charges for the extra Eb body?
Thanks a bunch.
Constance
The extra body is $15 last time I checked.
Thanks a bunch Scott.

Great Ronaldo! I’ve thought your whistles sounded and looked intriguing for some time but I wasn’t interested in a low whistle. I look forward to trying one of the high D’s.

Don’t forget Water Weasels, which can be had in a set with one head, and bodies for Eb,D,and C.
