Where I come from, we called those whirlwinds.
Cool! But I suspect that they are small hunting pack of mini tornadoes looking for or anticipating a future mobile home park.

I’ve always found it exhilerating to see footage from Mars, this being no exception. I dunno, there’s just something very neat about seeing things on another world, no matter how barren. ![]()

I did not realize that there would be enough of an atmosphere to allow such a phenomenon. Fascinating.
So. . .where’s the line for volunteers to go visit in person? I want in.
