That grapefruit could kill ya, gotta watch out for that furanocoumarin! The other stuff is safe but I’ll take mine with tea. ![]()
So that is the stuff that has the drug-drug interactions with so many prescription drugs. Ooo, pretty flat molecules.
I like the Cytochrome P450 3A4, it’s purddier.
Ooh! Never come across that about grapefruit before! I’ll have to eat more now …
… meanwhile, really rich French onion soup for lunch, full of proper beef stock that I made myself and topped off with huge French bread croutons covered in gruyere with added oil poured on top.
Yum!
My wife who is opposed to soups of all sorts, because soup is a plot to make her eat vegetables, early on in our marriage stated a preference for french onion soup. So I would make the most wonderful french soups until I cam to realize that she really only liked the cheese encrusted croutons. So now I just make her really great grilled sandwiches and I have some bouillion.
… plus, French onion soup, even supposing you have some good beef stock already made up, takes hours and hours to make. And fairly labour intensive hours at that, if you do it right.
So-o-o worth it though.

We’re into all kinds of soup, hot, cold, savory, fruity etc. Our onion soup is with bison stock, then the leftover bones get carved by another family member.
