PS: I hope it is ok to post this kind of annoucement.

Always have wanted one of these, but they’re not often available around here. Is your contact information available (didn’t see any contact info on the website you posted)? If you send me a PM using the “PM” button below, maybe we can talk!

if anyone is interested please contact me at mspimr@hotmail.com

herbivore12: I know there is noone importing these flutes to US, I was just lucky to bring some with me. It’s a shame that Slovak culture is so weekly represented overseas.

Michal

Are you really selling that beautiful fujara for $19.99? :astonished:

No, I appologize, that is the shipping price.

Those are very beautiful fujaras, btw, in your pictures, and the sound clip is very good too. I have a fujara made by Andrej Dvorsky, of Bratislava. Unfortunately i lost his address. On my last trip i saw a lot of instruments that were obviously meant for tourists, in folk art shops. So sadly, the tourist merchandising has reached Slovakia too… It’s important to make sure you get an instrument that’s supposed to be played, not hung from the wall (that is, if you intend to play it).

Yeah, well I guess the price in that case reflects the quality. And lot of tourists do not want to spend fortune to bring something unique home.

Btw I still have 2 of these Fujara’s left. If anyone is interested please let me know.
