I just received an email which appears to be from a well known and well respected pipemaker. The email mentions that the pipemaker is stranded in the UK and asks for money to help him get home.
It’s a hoax. I spoke to the pipemaker in question this morning and he’s definately not stranded in the UK. Someone has hacked his contacts list and is writing to everyone on the list asking for money.
If you receive a similar email, I suggest you delete it.

I received that email from an ex-mandolin player in my band. We knew it couldn’t be legit since he’s too poor to travel out of state, let alone out of country!
