Yes I am selling yet another treasure. You all know how wounderful these whistles are so I wont go into detail. They are in perfect shape. I just dont play it and I am trying to get my hands on an Olwell bamboo flute in F. And besides this whistle should be played. Black marbel D tube, Emerald Green E tube. Very good looking. 80 dollars plus shipping will put it in your hands and put me on yet another waiting list-)
Email works or pm me.
Tom, I think there must be a little bit of a slip up here. Looking at the Elfsong web site, I see a C/D combo and a range of choices of combos for E, F, F#, G. I don’t think there can be a D/E combo because the heads are of different sizes. It would be worth checking what it is you are actually offering.
Just jumping in here. I seem to remember Blackbeer telling me that Sandy made him this combo up via a special order. The E tube is the same diameter as the D tube only shorter. Tom will no doubt confirm this. I remeber when he got the set he was very pleased with it.
Sorry, I should have mentioned that Wombat. Sandy made this up special for me and said she had a great time doing it. I thought maybe she was going to add a wide bore E to her line but maybe not. Anyway it is a killer sounding E and the D has been mentioned so many times you should know how good it is. Redwolf did a great review of it last winter. In fact she is why I ordered it. At the time I was into pure whistles. That changed somewhere along the line and I keep looking for nastier and nastier sounding whistles. Plus the flute is just knocking me out. A merical happened about a month ago and I finaly started getting music out of the darn thing. Only took 7 months of total exasperation-) So there you are. Maybe a one of a kind-)
Actually, Sandy just finished making me an E tube for my elfsongs, so while its not on her website, it is (was?) mentioned on Gaelic Crossings, so I dont think its a non standard thing for her (of course, i could be wrong)
