"Iranian woman ‘gives birth to frog’

An Iranian newspaper has reported the controversial story of a woman who claims to have given birth to a frog.
The Iranian daily Etemaad says the creature is believed to have grown from larva to an adult frog inside her body."

Eeeeeeeew!

Although I believe it’s quite common-place in France.

That’s really creepy.

unbeliveable! Creepy! Eeeew! Or as we in Bavaria say: Pfuiteifl!

Let’s not have anti-amphibism sentiment bandied about here!

I’d say it’s an urban legend. A variant of this</a](http://www.snopes.com/pregnant/octopus.htm">this</a)> one.

But that one wasn’t reported by the BBC today. And it didn’t have a photo of The Frog. In colour. Again I say, eeeeew!

kewl..

It’s a reprint from an Iranian paper, not originally reported by the BBC.

I agree, eww, but I’d want a little more proof. Cut frog though.

I could be wrong since I don’t know a ton about frogs, but it looks like a Whites tree frog to me and:

The White’s tree frog is from Northeast Australia, New Guinea, Indonesia and the Torres Straits.

Wanna know more? Just do a search on White’s tree frog in any search engine, they are quite common in the pet trade.

What we need right now is a professional!

Where’s the Zoobster when you need him most, eh? Eh?

And if I didn’t know any better, Norcal, your comments sound to me like a personal attack on the White’s tree frog and its amazing great froggitudiness…!

That’s a bit of an overreaction, eh Gary? It’s time for you to become like the palm tree.

Emm, don’t go attacking my main man gary the ape!

I’m not attacking…just offering calm, zen-like advice…

ok…let’s not attack anyone here…

 I’m sorry, it’s NOT my fault.

 Now to figure out just what to blame it all on, hire a lawyer and sue someone for it. :imp:

That’s all well and good, Emm, but what I really need is a navigational tool. A set of parallel rules and dividers would do nicely for a start I’m reckoning. Heh, reckoning… :stuck_out_tongue:

heehee.

Time for us all to be palm trees, and play nice. Seems we’ve scared Talbert away again. Now he’s decided to become a deciduous tree and leave.
