Edarem's Chickery Chick video

You old folks might like this.

I know I love it, and I’m in my twenties

Enjoy!

That made #1 on the charts (a different time that was, indeed) ten years before I was born. So, it’s not surprising I never heard of it.

I’m glad you like it, Jack. It’s all yours. You should sing it to your friends. A lot.

Hard to believe the same guy wrote “Too Young” sung by Nat King Cole, one of the greatest voices of all time.

A load of Bollicka.

Slan,
D. :stuck_out_tongue:

Jack - Nano - you had never heard Chickery Chick before???

I suppose you only know the version of Witch Doctor that was in the most recent chipmunk movie, not the 1960’s version - and you probably don’t remember They’re Coming to Take Me Away, Ha Haaaa – or watching Huckleberry Hound cartoons where he sings Clementine …

Excuse me, all this excitement is too much for this old lady. I need my rest.

I was culturally deprived. I grew up on Danny Kaye, and…Mantovani.

Yes, I know. Awful to think of, isn’t it. And if I have heard it in my youth, then I’ve blotted out the vile memory. Too excruciating to bear and the brain remain alive, what with insult to injury.

I should be eligible for Social Security or something for the damage.

Furthermore, I think I’ll have my lawyers contact Jack’s lawyers. I’m suing for emotional distress due to premeditated assault with one of the stupidest, stupidest earworms ever.

I remember those days…

James Last is the European equivalent of Mantovani..a bit more Brass and less strings , but the same thing.

I knew a guy in Dublin who auditioned for the James Last Orchestra and when he got the gig he was smiling for a week. Great money, no crappy B+Bs, World travel and serious good times.

There is a price to be paid for everything…

D.
