Help! Please…

I have tried all sorts of search queries and no success…

We had a lengthy discussion of the pro’s and con’s (mostly the latter) of regulation by such entities as BMI and ASCAP of public play of music and its effect on ITRAD and the freedom to play at sessions. Notably, one pub had simply decided to stop hosting sessions because of it. It was perhaps a year ago.

Anyone recall it? Any help will be much appreciated.

That’s one of them… the one I think I remember also touched on ‘open source’ type sites, with downloadable music, and why it actually pays to give the stuff away. There were more links, as I remember.
