Eamonn Curran pipes?

Hello all,

Is anyone familiar with Eamonn Curran pipes? I own a practice set of indeterminate parentage–just caught a glimpse of what may be some Curran chanters and they look an awful lot like mine.

What is the unusual bagpipe the young woman is playing in the pictures from the first link? It looks like a Slavik or Near Eastern style.
