Is Eamonn still making pipes? I though I’d heard he was concentrating on flutes only nowadays.

Actually I’m not sure but I think he is… Last march in Rome, Tiarnán Ó Duinnchin gave me his contacts being asked who made his chanter and if it would have been possible to order one from Mr Curran.
Anyway he surely made some set in the past, any pictures of them??

Eamonn only ever made one full set, his own - about 20 years ago I think. He was considering getting into making full sets a couple of years back but last I was talking to him, I think he’s decided not to. He makes great chanters and has made a few half sets, but it’s mainly chanters. He’s a full time primary teacher, and time pressures, etc, mean he can’t do all the work that people ask of him.
As far as I know, Bill, Eamonn has never made flutes.
Leonard Barry plays Currann’s chanter, really nice one.
I got some info from Curran about year ago, he make chanters Waitingtime something 6-8 months price was 600-1000e depends keywork
