It permits one to take any DVD and convert it to iPod format then load the file onto ones iPod. I just uploaded my Planxty concert DVD to the iPod. The So Cal tionol videos footages are next! The likes of Father d’Arcy, Pat Cannady, Kevin Rowsome, Brian McNamara, Benedict Koehler and others in video on an iPod…how cool is that! A pack o’ pipers in me pocket!
For those of you who don’t own the new iPod…get it! You’ll love it!
I use Kinoma Producer 3.2 for the same purpose… I have friends that work for Kinoma, but if you already have .avi, .wmv., or .mpg files that you want to transcode to MPEG-4, its a great product and very reasonably priced.
Glands, you’ll end up looking like M. Eskin’s avatar after you try to watch those DVDs on that tiny iPod screen.
I love listening to my iPod Nano (I got the “7 years” CD loaded up and love it).
But I don’t think I’d want to stare at it that long. Better get a case too, 'cuz if you blow on it, the screen will scratch.
