Last time I checked, Vermont and upstate New York were still in the United States, so Mssrs. Koehler and Quinn are American makers.

I thought we all agreed some time ago, that Bruce Childress was hands down, the best pipe maker alive?

I think what we agreed on was that there is a problem with something in the water in Maine. :wink: These lists provide little real information, and can be a source of slander at worst. The lists provided don’t even mention Australian makers. Just because some people don’t have a big presence on C&F does not necessarily equate to the quality of their work.

Plenty more makers out there doing incredable work and all this does is mislead people scanning through the pages looking for advice on makers who name may not be on the list but should be
