Well, the decision has been made, we’ve chosen Ireland over Scotland (nothing personal to the Scottish chiffers).
It will most likely be Dublin, but that’s not a sure thing. So, posters in the Dublin area, be prepared to get bugged about silly little things about living, eating, working and playing in Dublin over the next few months. Very much looking forward to it, just a matter of saving up as much as I can over the summer. We apply for our work Visas next month. 
Gosh, after all the recent posts, are you sure they didn’t clamp the lid on visiting CANADIANS!?!?!?!?!?
Be sure to do lots of saving. LOTS of saving.

Not to worry. We Canadians saw what a horrible image our alcoholic/pot smoking ways have projected abroad. So we regularly affix the American flag to our backpacks when travelling and take advantage of the goodwill they feel towards you folks. 
And amar, the odour eaters are in good supply.
brianc, the program we’re going with recommends 2000 CAD (or rather, demands it). We’ll (me and my girlfriend) each have that doubled at least when the time comes around. Looking around, we’ve seen a good number of places in the 600E range on the South Side, which we figured was about right. So we’re not too, too worried about finances. The big concern is having money left over for other travelling.
