Black Dots OR ABC’s ?
Anybody know where these can be found ?

As so many others whom you have helped have done, I thank you for your high quality assistance; very fast service, too.
Although the Haunted House wasn’t the tune I was looking for, the Comments sections directed me to Eddie Kelly’s No. 2 (ref. “Will the real Drumshambo Jig please stand up”). This is it !! In the comment section a setting which includes an alternative B ending was shown; nearly the same as the version I was seeking. Success.
Now, to get the black dots printed out large enough for me. The Concertina.net conversion device leaves me with dots and staves way too tiny. As a last resort, I can always write them out by hand on blank staff paper, I guess.
I have never been able to use the BarFly application on my iMac because it insists on employing OS 9 which I am reluctant to use. I need a better route.
For the day I’m grateful for the progress, though.

Here’s a tip/trick to fix that. At the very top of the ABC file, before the X: line, add the following line:
%%scale 1.0
This sets the scale factor, or overall size, of the printed output. The default value is 0.75, so setting it to 1.0 increases the size by 33%.
You can try setting it even larger if you like, e.g. 1.25 or more. Until you reach the point where the ABC lines start moving around, and you have to readjust the individual ABC line breaks.
You should end up with a PDF printout that’s a little easier on the eyes. 
Old Leitrim Jig is how I found it. But then, are we talking about the same tune?? I think it’s on Norbecks.

Yeah, that’s a new one to me. I encountered what was called Drumshanbo on a set on that first NaConnery’s session cd.
Here’s the best setting of the Drumshambo Jig, the version I first learned from a New Yorker. Found in the comments section at The Session. As stated, there is an extra repeat of Part B which finishes it off better.

MTGuru: No magic touch for me on getting a better scale factor.
I tried adding %%scale:1.20 both with and without the semi colon. Neither produced anything different than the default size.

No, no colon, just a space.
Try pasting the exact ABC below into the converter. I fixed the formatting a bit, fixed the tempo, and wrote out the endings so the MIDI converter wouldn’t get confused. I just tested the scale directive again, and it seems to work fine.
You realize that the “extra B part” stuff here is actually from Donnybrook Fair, a different tune entirely, that someone steems to have stuck onto this tune? If you like it that way, go for it. But I’d have to research it to know if that’s common variant or just someone’s quirky idea. It’s kind of a generic turnaround anyway. Good luck!

I just listened to the John Faulkner & Dolores Keane recording, and think I like their “original” setting better than the “Donnybrooked” version. Injecting those happy G Major phrases just seems out of place. You lose the repeated |gfe fed| figures, which really build excitement and tension toward the end. You lose the surprise c/c# ambiguity in the final turnaround. And you lose the interesting double A single B structure.
To my ear, the New York version has less character. But YMMV!
