I just wanted to make a video of me playing my Optima so that I can look back in a few months and see how far I’ve come. It’s the theme to a video game called Morrowind, if you’ve never heard it before. I need to work on getting some ornamentation in there, but at least I figured out the basic melody. Why don’t you guys take a look and tell me what you think?

Dude RELAX! It is permissible to blink. You will play much better if you loosen up. Not familiar with the melody so I am not certain what you are playing.
What are you growing on that farm???

LOL I noticed how odd I looked! I was trying not to look at myself in the iPod because it kept messing me up. So while I was playing I tried to just look anywhere else. It was making me a bit nervous to tell the truth.
I used to be an adventurer like you, then I took an arrow in the knee.
See, now I think you are doing really well. You are feeling the music which I assume you learned by ear, since you must have heard it a lot. Marvellous.
When I play those tunes it makes the kids come running in. ha hah harrrrr.
Perfectly normal to be nervous, especially a new player posting on a whistle site (hey, no pressure here, just warm support 
). Keep on playing and you’ll get by all the nervousness.

yes the video is funny, specialy when one see it after reading Caydens message “RELAX” 
But it also shows that you are good, after only 2, (or few? dont rememeber) month, thats good
you will be surprised how much your whistling will devellop inb another few month … keep playing

Good going FJ, for only a few months on a difficult instrument to play though saying that it’s easy to see the hole spacing is not an issue for you with your long phalanges. Staring is always something that’s picked on in the board so here’s a meaningful story
Two blind men are siting on a park bench and one says to the other “stop staring at me” the other replies “I’m not, I’m blind”
So what relevance has this staring story to your whistle playing video…absolutely none stare all you want, I can still hear you playing

I was in band in middle and high school, so I’m well accustomed to it. Almost everyone looks like an idiot while they play an instrument! =) If you want hilarity, you should’ve seen me on my trombone.

You should play the electric bass then. Bassists look incredibly cool by default.
I liked the song. Very soothing.
That being said, “What’s up with that blast of light near the end?” I’m guessing the cat touched one of those touch sensitive lights but didn’t know how to spell SOS. Cats are like that.
