There is absolutely nothing, like, wrong with the Nigeria thing. Occasionally you read reports like this:
“In June of 1995, an American was murdered in Lagos, Nigeria, while pursuing a 4-1-9 scam, and numerous other foreign nationals have been reported as missing.”
This is absolute crap! Travelling to Nigeria without a visa is perfectly safe and legal! You’ll see when you get there. I have been assured of this by my contact in Nigeria.

Steady on Chuck. The offensive part of the initial post has been deleted. Now, when this first appeared, I noticed seven posts against this critter’s name. Now only one non-post. Even removed the bit we were mocking; these pyramid salesmen are such sensitive souls. All that’s left is a bit of OT mockery.
Now, if people started to make a regular habit of this then … 
The same post was made in all forums, only the one in the whistleforum had replies and so remained. if you guys had ignoredit this wouldn’t be here at all at all.
On the contrary, if we’d ignored it, perhaps they’d all still be here. After the first couple of mocking comments one of the moderators deleted everything but the bit which would make the mockery intelligible. After we started poking fun, the perpetrator returned to remove the rest. I think these guys dislike being laughed at more than they dislike being ignored.
If this happened more than just the once, I’d be all in favour of just deleting the threads as soon as they appeared.
