Do what you love: Time is too short...

A friend e-mailed me the text of this, Steven Jobs’ commencement address at Stanford U.

I thought it was too good to be true–like the so-called Kurt Vonnegut commencement address which was great, but still turned out to be a hoax. ( http://urbanlegends.about.com/library/weekly/aa081097.htm )

But apparently Jobs really had some interesting things to say.

Seems like something along the lines of a saying my friend Fran sometimes uses: “Like the miners say, 'Eat dessert first, ‘cause the roof might cave in.’”

That’s great! Thanks for sharing it. Jobs has the public persona and all but I just learned a lot more about him that puts some of what I see in a different light.
