I guess this is one of those threads where people comment differently because they play differently. I have the one-piece flute like Calum Stewart plays in the clip. I bought it to see if I could coax my smallish hands into playing a flute with a fairly normal hole-spread.
It’s not very tapered but playing the two octaves in tune seems easy enough (and the Cnatural seems OK to me). I should have paid more for the tuneable so that I could rotate the head for better hand comfort, and the whistle head would then have been an option.
If the Tipple D is the same tubing has his F (I think it is - I have one and like it) then I think it will feel very fat compared with this Dixon.
