Hello to all. 
I’ll try and keep this as short as possible and thank you to all who take the time to read and possibly reply.
I’m on my 3rd year of a BA (Hons) Degree course in Music Production at UCS (University Campus Suffolk) Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, UK. For the research part of my dissertation (there’s a practical part as well) i have chosen to do a case study on 3 of my favourite flute players, analysing their composition, arranging and playing techniques / styles. The 3 flute players are
1: Ian Anderson (Tull)
2: Dave Valentin
3: Michael McGoldrick
Hopefully, by looking at these 3 amazing players and researching their own uniques styles (as above) i shall composing and recording (Here’s the practical part) 3 original songs, primarily flute based, encompassing what i have discovered within the findings.
Now i come to the reason for my post here… i will be in need of (in the upcoming months) some feedback, quotes, thoughts etc from as many relevant people as possible, in the form of possibly one to one conversations, feedback, questions etc. So, if you would be up for doing any or some of this, in any way you can, please let me know (at your convenience) either here on the board or by email at j.wilde at ics.ac.uk All communication and use thereof will be anonymous unless otherwise specified, in which case i will be asking your permission as and when required.
