I was told i would get at least one whistle for christmas!
I only got 1 
(and it wasnt even very good)
it came in my stocking and is aliminium.
painted metallic blue and about 5 cms long with a keyring at one end.
When I asked for a whistle I didnt mean an emergency whistle for kayaking. 
I was sorry to hear Santa hadn’t been down your flue with a new whistle. Perhaps it is for the best, as most of us, having only one mouth and two hands, can only play one at a time.
No, dang it, you have a point - how can we adapt and survive in the music session jungle with only one whistle? What about fiddlers deliberately and without provocation playing in A, or C, or even E?
Look, there are bound to be some in the January Sales- take this £, which is worth at least $50, and get a really nice one
