I have completed a full-set two weeks ago, that i have been making for several years. I have problems with the bag, which i made when pipes didn’t have regulators. So i need a new one but there isn’t uilleann pipes near, here in Spain, to see how are the correct dimensions and shape.
So if you can help me, i make the follow sketch so you write the measures, A,b, c,…
HOw is the best model?

a = 66 cm
b = 26 cm
c = 34 cm
d = 4 cm
s1 = 33 cm
s2 = 9 cm
T1 = 5 cm
T2 = 8 cm
Note that s1&2 and T1&2 are subjective, i.e. different locations per personal preference and body shape/size. Also, these are flat measurements, and don’t include any extra at seams for folding over, depending on how you choose to put the bag together, e.g. sewn, rivets, glue, bubblegum, etc.
The measurements I have given you are from a bag made specifically for UPs by L&M Outfitters. They only sell wholesale, but I’m sure any piping supply shop could get one for you.

I suggest you try different sizes with inexpensive vinyl to see what you like best then make the final bag in leather.
