Did you hear about the man who ...

… fell into an upholstering machine?

It’s OK. He’s completely recovered.

Best wishes,
Jerry

I used to be an optician. One of the guys I worked with got caught in the lens grinding machine.

He made a spectacle of himself.

The lesson to be learned . . .

Wear a clip on tie.

Will that prevent people from posting groaners like these?

Best wishes,
Jerry

I like this one… never needs pressing… works for most restaurants, and doesn’t require a hard case… though you might be a hard case if you own one…

It was the stitich in time that saved him.

Sure, they’re tacky. But clip on ties prevent men from getting sucked into machinery.
No joke!
My dad, who used to be an engineer in a power plant, told me that the men who worked those jobs wore clip on ties. If the tie happens to get sucked in to a machine, it simply pulls free from the wearer.
Something to think about next time you’re standing near a turbine.

Hmmm.

So you’re telling me that if I wear a clip on tie, I will be protected from being sucked into machinery? This is great news because I work around machinery a lot. Usually, I prefer not to wear a tie at all, but if this will make the work safer, I’ll be glad to do it.

Best wishes,
Jerry

Just because you’re tweeking whistles doesn’t mean you can’t be fashionable.

Mouse has always been the fashion leader here at Global Penny Whistle Tweaking Research and Production Consortium (GPWTR&PC) headquarters. Nothing’s dressier than a tan fur jacket, white waistcoat, white gloves and spats. (That’s why I put his picture on the logo instead of mine.)

Best wishes,
Jerry

NOTICE: No disrespect intended to Native Americans!!!

Did you hear about the Indian who drank 97 cups of tea one night?

the next morning they found him dead in his TP.

Workplace accidents are no jokes. I heard about a stewardess who backed into a propeller.

Disaster!
