Anybody else seen them on their current tour?

They were at Goderich, Ontario for most of the Celtic College there and presented a concert during the week and at the festival on the weekend. They are excellent, of course. Cathy Jordan…yeah!

Oh I saw their Spirit performance alright. As a newcomer to Irish music I hadn’t heard of them when we went to see their performance. After a few minutes listening to their playing this was quickly cured.
Damn, they’re good! Never seen a show like it… beautiful flute/whistle playing of course, but they were playing so perfectly together. They even started “The hungry rock”, but they set in another tune in the second part on accident. I didn’t even notice the parts didn’t belong together, but they corrected it by playing it again the right way this time. On top of that, the voice of Cathy struck me… can’t compare it to another. Simply amazing.
Even managed to get a signed copy of their Spirit album… although cough I forgot to ask Shane (on Accordion) to sign it. 
Next time he’ll be the first I’ll ask to sign one of their CD’s.
I saw them last night in Berkeley. They are excellent. In fact I like them even better than Lunasa because of Cathy Jordan. She’s wonderful and funny. You’re going to have a wonderful time!
Dervish will be in Iowa next month I think. Cathy Jordan’s voice is wonderful - I am not usually a big fan of the gaelic/irish female ballads but she’s the exception. Their instrumentals are even better.
Wow! What a night.
I must say, this was my first Irish concert. I’ve been to a few, uh, rock’n’roll gigs… sissies all of them. Dervish is like rolling thunder.

Blackhawk and Rando7, no doubt about Cathy. She was both hilarious and enchanting. I think my wife had to jab my ribs a couple of times, as I was drooling all over myself.
