I have tickets for this concert on March 16. I have a couple of Karan Casey’s CDs and really like them, but really know little about Dervish.
how would y’all describe this group?
I have all of Dervish’s CD’s, they are not coming coming to LA. I am totally bumed! Should be a great concert! They are a real lively band, I believe they hale from Sligo.
I am going to go to see Karen Casey March 2 at Northridge (hope there is’nt any earthquakes…)

Dervish is amazing - great band. The instrumentalists are terrific - especially the flute and button accordian players - they have a great live show. Have fun!!!

And I’d had the notion I could just slip quietly back into board life like I’d never been gone ! Heck, based on Dale’s membership numbers, 90% of those here probably never heard of me.
I got to come back home to house, dogs and whistles on January 28. Still on crutches and can’t drive, probably until the end of February, and physical therapy is going well, if painfully. So the bulk of everything is still on Martha, but at least now she has more time to do it.
