...deep thoughts on pipers

I’ve never met Zamfir before…but he seems fairly short and is probably a big jerk…but boy oh boy can he play the pipes!

Just look at how he worships them…

Beware, CraigMc! As a budding piperalist I take umbrage to such words! Must a holocaust of jibes now ensue?

Let’s just hope he doesn’t attach bag and bellows to it.

The worshipful attitude DOES give one pause…does he, like, enshrine it at the end of the day amid billows of myrrh and sacrificed mice or something?

N, ??

Amen..my friend N…Amen

–There’s a small pub in MPLS, Molly Quinn’s (a dedicated ‘musician’s bar’, God bless ‘em), that stages brilliant trivia contests on Sundays from seven-ish to abt. nine in the evening. Prizes are given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. CDs are typical among the booty, and the most head-scratching of them are coveted. One time, the best of the lot was of Zamphir playing Beatles’ hits!

I was soooo close…

N, still pining

LOL N!

Hey, he’s pulling his brains out!
pipers rule,
Dave

Yeah, on second glance I thought of an alien replicating: egg cases! OMG, how many of my friends are really Zamphiroids in human form? This is one for the X-Files.

N, glancing side to side

Hey!

I’m in at Molly Quinn’s all the time, maybe I’ll bump into you sometime.

Seth

Hey, Seth!

Do you play at the Friday session there? I haven’t attended that one lately because it’s so popular and the seating gets dicey (and I’m a wee bit antsy in the thick of a crowd). But I miss the bunch. If you see the great Mr. McCormick and his posse, give 'em all a BIG hello for me and let them know that it’s not their hygeine or their playing that keeps me away! I shall return.

N, nostalgic

Nah,I think he’s just auditioning as an alien for ‘Star trek’ or it’s latest spin off- I mean THEY ALL just look like humans with stuck on funny noses don’t they?! *except for the Klingons, who have Cornish Pasties stuck on their foreheads!(sorry Trekkies!)

Yeah, humanoid bioforms are the crown o’ creation–I seen it on TV.

The Klingons always remind me of evolved Mounds(R) candybars.

N, Mmmmm…Klingons…
