I had wanted to get her for a solo track, but was only able to get the ensemble track. Tragic family circumstances, I believe. It is good to see her active.

Dee has a fine family and works as a teacher. I think she has been playing locally at sessions, and such these past ten years or so, but this is only the second time I’ve seen Dee playing on social media recently. She’s still one of the best flute players I’ve heard. Not sure if the flute she is playing is a 6 key Hamilton, or an Olwell.
In any case, exciting to see her. Thanks for posting the link to that video. A whole hour of tremendous flute & whistle playing.
