Which Salterello did Dead Can dance play and where can a version of this tune be found in print? It is a great tune and I would like to play it on whistle and recorder.

This is the same Saltarello “popularized” by John Renbourn on The Lady and The Unicorn, Track 1.

I could have transcribed this in 2/4, but it’s easier to read in cut time.

The Lady And The Unicorn is a great album.
My wife an I were Lucky enough to catch DCD ( Hollywood Bowl) live a few years back as well as John Renbourne ( McCabes ) several times as well. Sure would like to find the sheet music for this tune, but I really appreciate you putting it down this way as well.

http://www.concertina.net/tunes_convert.html then click the “Submit” button. When you see the rough draft of the dots, click “PDF Sheet Music” and there you be. Or, my preference is to get a free copy of ABC Explorer and save all your tunes in ABC so you can share them, tweak them, play them, and print them.
