I was prompted by Cran’s thread to start this one, if only to say, thank goodness we all have differences, even if some folks don’t want to deal with those differences in a constructive manner.
It would be an awfully boring world were we all to believe in the same thing, want the same things, and be attracted to the same things.
Thank goodness for our differences! 
It would make marriage difficult.
Marriage is already difficult! There’s no need for it to be boring too!
Sometimes the difficulty is boredom. I was thinking that if everyone were attracted to the same thing there’d only be one male and one female anybody would want to marry. OF course they’d marry each other.
