I’ve been wondering, out of purely bored interest, if anyone knows anything about the stand used by Davie Spillane used in the video production of Riverdance. (The clear stand he leans on during his solo.) Was it specially made for him?

You can get them from IKEA, 25 euros. Does anyone know what socks Davey was wearing in the riverdance video. I mean were they specially made for him?

If I remember correctly, that’s one of [u]glands[/u] stools!
BTW, the built in cup might serve as an ashtray, but also useful as a coin drop for the busker.
