As for the ‘where are you’ part, Dave lives in this little hot, dusty town out on the outskirts of nowhere. I’ve been there, I can tell you. Keep driving until you it’s scorching out and you see flat grassy fields surrounded by barbed wire. You’re getting close. He had beer available when I visited, so it wasn’t so bad.

Sorry… not making them right now. I reccomend Sindt, Busman or Rose as having a tone that’s similar to what I aim for. I just have too many other things going on, and eventually I’d like to try making them again using silver nickel and blackwood.
If it’s a particular design you want, my fipple design is somewhat close to Copelands… and he makes a might fine whistle.
As for the beer… hey Tony, you’re always welcome to come see if I have any left.
Dave
Can I sign up now for #1 of that silver nickel blackwood line?

Doesn’t Sandy Jasper (Elfsong whistles) make copper whisltes?
I’ve never played one but it seems to be rattling 'round in my head that she worked in copper.
