I suspected that size ratios would be important. Good illustration of this.
I notice that with the squatifying of the flute image, both head and body show a curve. I wonder…is this because of the image only or because the flute actually has slight curvature and that is magnified by the image?

FWIW I have never been able to explain to the wife why I why I want to stand near the end of my zoom for the web shots and not right up next to 'em!
