D Whistle "Thin Weasel" by Schultz on eBay

Since I took up the fiddle, my whistle isn’t getting much attention. So I’m selling it on eBay, if anyone is interested. Very literal-minded of me I know but, mightn’t your whistling child want this item?

 My only “child” is a border collie, and alas, he just doesn’t have the embouchure (sp?)

And he’s free to bid too if he wants to learn. :stuck_out_tongue:

Is the donegalwombat related to the Australian variety?

They’re placental wombats.

Wot no pouch?

So where does a wombat keep its whistles if it hasn’t got a marsupium?

Donegal wombats are very enterprising little creatures. Since they don’t have pouches, they head to the DIY store in Donegal town, buy one of those tool belt thingies, and keep their whistles in that. But try never to be behind one in the queue for the till… they pay for their purchases entirely in 1-cent coins, saved carefully out of their pocket money.

The pouches evolved in Sicily en route to Australia as a clever way of foiling slash and grab thieves.
