Cutting crans in 4ths

Zubivka asked for help cutting crayons in 4ths, so my intent was to post a little lesson here, but after reviewing my poor technique, it appears that I’m not the one to help.

Anyone else have any hints?

Thanks,
Erik

Hmm, try using a serated knife when cutting. You could also wrap the area to be cut in masking tape before hand, then cut through the tape. Then just remove the tape when you are done!

Hey, thanks Erik for this PC thread.

You technique already better than mine. Gives me an idea on how to dissecate taps without Amazing slow downer. Maybe with a cut or two…

But I can’t train on cranes here in Mesquer. See, they’re endangered species…

The proper practice of cutting crayons is actually quite an art. One should first snip the tip with a cigar cutter, then proceed to evenly quarter (and then draw as opposed to the time honored tradition of drawing and then quartering)with a sharp Iron Chef cutter the remaining crayon. The tip should be properly crushed with a hint of oregano and evenly spread through the fore quarters. I think that’s it…it’s been a while though.

Judging by Zoob’s last post it looks as if Cathal McConnell has lost a bit of weight.

You mean she looks like my whistle hanger stand
