cut, tap and roll

Recent discussion about short rolls and rolls in general inspired me to share the following. It’s not perfect, but I hope I’m conveying proper technique accurately. If any advanced players wish to comment on my examples, please do.

Cuts and taps First, I’m going up and down the scale cutting: D{cut}D, E{cut}E, F{cut}F, G{cut}G (cutting by lifting the G finger), A{cut}A, B{cut}B (cutting by lifting the A then B finger. First octave, second octave.
Then I’m going up and down the scale cutting into the next note: D{cut}E, E{cut}F, F{cut}G… First and second octave.
Then I’m going up and down tapping: E{tap}E, F{tap}F… tapping with the note below, i.e. E{tap with D}E, F{tap with E}…

long and short rolls First the long rolls, first and second octave; then short rolls.

I’m feeling real insecure about posting this, but I hope it helps someone. Hope I’m not breaking some forum rule or something.
