Anyone going to the Cultra Tionól at Ulster Folk & Transport Museum Holywood Co Down on the Saturday 24 September 2005.
I will be going to the Cultra Tionól and will be doing the reedmaking class with Andreas Rogge. I will get Andreas to make me a new B reed and improved any D and B reeds I have including two B reeds I made today and yesterday. ( My first reeds that work )

Back from the Cultra Tionol.
Went to Andreas Rogge reedmaking class and he started with how to make a B reed and using my B plumwood chanter, I got a free reed.
Andreas also looked at a B reed I made. It was playing great last night.
He had a good look at the reed and took the reed apart, sanded inside, tied the reed with hemp, put wire bridle on sanded reed and improved the reed.
Saw BillH with his C# half set second time to hear the set becasuse Bill had the set at the Belfast Tionol in March 2005 and a nice sounding set.
