The new superpowered Google alternative, Cuil (pr. ‘cool’). Went online today. I guess so many people are giving it a go that its servers are maxed out. It’ll be interesting to see how it fares in coming days.

I tried it a couple of times. I had no problems with speed, but the response was less than useless. Anything I tried came back with some of the most convoluted misinterpretations of my search strings imaginable. The exact same search strings in Google provided far more useful hits.
Not impressed was I.
