what are these crystal people thingy stuff? I don’t get it..
The so-called crystal people are a made up notion by Dale Wisely, who runs Chiff and Fipple. They supposedly are aliens who every once in a while take over his brain and make him say or do things that he or no other normal person would think of doing.
Personally, although I have known Dale online for several years, and otherwise think the world of him and what he has done to promote whistling, I find this entire notion preposterous. I mean really, ALIENS? Next, I expect him to tell us that he has been abducted and subjected to severe alien medical scrutiny.. Would such a race of superior beings be so stupid, or frivilous? here’s the sort of spooky part. When I tried to post my first humorous (hopefully) reply to this thread, I had an extremely hard time sending the reply-- kept getting timed out. Other threads worked just fine. Other websites were OK too. The ONLY place I couldn’t contact was the Crystal People thread. I am not making this up. Also, parts of the original reply did not come across, but I think this is because I used HTML symbols like < . I said something like:

It is not considered good form or healthy to question the existence, plans or manifestations of the Crystal People. The Undisputed once did so on a particularly stressful day and was sentenced to Chiff and Fipple for an indeterminate time to be determined by those who are only mentioned with the greatest of respect.

A year or so ago Don Henley, former member of the Eagles, put out a cd called “Inside Job”. A song on in that I just love is called “They’re not here, and they’re not coming”. If you get a chance listen to it. I’m sorry Dale. I just don’t believe they’d stop in here. Not even for McNuggets.

Everybody seems so upset about the spanish skier Johan Muhleg having cheated, but when I was on the train yesterday I saw one headline where it said that Muhleg explained his performance with:
“I have eaten “special food”.”
