CP: Water Weasel NT whistles . . . and then there was ONE!!

This is a very special nontunable Water Weasel in the key of d that Glenn Schultz and I worked on. They retail for $50, plus $4.85 for Priority Mail in the continental US.

What’s great about these is you can get the water weasel sound at a more affordable price.

Glenn has given these whistles a very slight variation in tone/chiff . . . about a 10% variance on the amount of chiff to a bit more focused and louder. Very slight, but really only noticeable in a side by side comparison. The last whistle I have left, has a slight, but noticeable amount of back pressure. Sounds just as good as the others.

July 6th update

I now have two Water Weasel NT’s left. Of the two, one has a bit more back pressure. This one would be good IMHO for someone who primarily plays low whistles and is accustomed to moving more air. For someone used to playing high whistles, this may not be your cup of tea, unless you are used to Overtons (at least the ones I’ve played). It sounds just as good as the rest of the Water Weasel NT’s. If you played them all side by side (all 23 that were made) this would be classified as having the most back pressure of them all.

The other whistle is probably “middle-of-the-road” in terms of the range of back pressure designed into Glenn’s whistles. I have heard a comment from one new owner that theirs reminded them of the older Water Weasels.

Folks, I bought one and convinced three others to get one.

These are fantastic whistles!

Don’t let this pass by, you’ll be kicking yourself if you ever try one and didn’t get one when you had the chance.

July 7th Update

Talked to Bree and she’s sending a whistle back to me to be placed up for sale. So, there’s three available, and then they’re gone!

July 8 Update


There is now officially only one WW NT left. It has a noticable amount of back pressure (resistance) compared to most of the Weasels Glenn made. I would say this is on the upper end. I will also say that in comparison to an Overton high D I played recently, that this remaining WW has less bp. With that being said, please realize the sound is the same and you can really lean into the whistle (because of the bp) and you will be heard! :slight_smile:
