CP: Parks Bb call for testers

Hi gang,

I thought I’d ask for people who would be interested in participating in a private (meaning no reviews posted on the web) test of a prototype Bb whistle. It is PVC and Delrin like my Every whistles, only fatter and longer.

It would essentially be a whistle tour, sending it around and giving me feedback on what you liked and didn’t like about the whistle.

I want it to be private because once something is posted on the web, Google and the Way Back Machine will chisel it in silicon and future searchers will see the prototype reviews pop up along with any reviews of my production whistles, which might be confusing.

This time it will be US only to keep the shipping time down.

I’ll also ask you to record two tunes twice - a slow one and a faster one with the whistle set to two tuning positions I’ll tell you about and send them to me for analysis. You don’t need to have any fancy recording equipment, a web cam or the mic on your notebook are fine.

If the list gets too big, or feedback is such that I want to tweak something before continuing, I might break the “tour” into segments.

Let me know if you’d like to participate, e-mail is best so I can obtain your e-mail for future communications. I’m still some weeks away from sending the whistle around, so don’t get too antsy. (Here in Florida it would likely be fire antsy, which really makes you do an urgent looking dance.)

Best regards,

Carey Parks
