I am discontinuing telescoping whistles because it has gotten too difficult for my arthritic hands.
I am not giving up making whistles altogether, just the ones that tax my condition too seriously.
My catalog will be changed to show the ones I will still be making. It’s been a great adventure and still will be but with limitations.

Just curious Mack…what part of making a telescoping whistle is that much harder than your other models?
It must be a whistle makers’ complaint-- Glenn Schultz had badly arthritic hands, to the point that he had to have the joint at the base of his thumb(s?) fused. Mine give me a twinge from time to time.
Hi Paul,
I have been having those twinges for years, but most recently the strength has diminished to grip the tubes to slide them.
I’m still ok with tuning slides where there is plenty of tube to grip.
