Full, rich, velvety timbre, well balanced between registers, solid bottom. Completes the sequence of tweaked low Generations: Bb, A, and G.
My work has continued to improve, btw. Anyone who has one of my tweaked Bb or A Generations, I would be happy to take a look at it and see if it has the most up-to-date tweaking details. I’ve done this for a few customers at events, and they were impressed with how much richer and stronger the whistle sounded, especially in the upper register, after about two minutes of adjusting the tweak (no charge for this, of course).
Key of low G Freeman tweaked Generation: $48.50 plus $6.00 postage anywhere in the world = $54.50 total.

Does Generation even make low Gs? Or is this an unique Freeman whistle product?
I’m going to have to start saving up for one of these. Plus I also need a C Blackbird so I can play along with my roommate’s folk harp… (gotta save more faster, little squid!)
The tubing is the same wall thickness and one size bigger diameter than the tubing I use for the tweaked A Generations. The two sizes will fit one inside the other, a “telescope” fit.
I will eventually be converting these designs to mass production. It may be that I can eventually create a mass produced low D Generation style whistle.
I was thinking that as $48.50 is above the $34 VAT-triggering limit for customs anyway I could as well buy an A and a (low) G at the same time. Being a guitar player I have a natural affection for A and G!

(The Bluebird is so good that I basically got rid of my WhOAD, but other keys are welcome.. I don’t want to go low D, so I was thinking that those ‘alto’ keys would be good options for me)
I would love to go, and I’ve been wondering if that’s something I can do. I was told there aren’t vendors at the Tionol, but I’m sure the participants would like to have a chance to try my whistles. This is a piper’s Tionol, correct?
I wonder how I should go about investigating the possibility.
I just ordered this new low G from Jerry.. and an A at the same time. Looking forward to it! There’s some music I wish to play where these should fit in well, and the G in particular should be quite useful as an all-rounder I imagine.
This will be my 3rd and 4th Freeman.
