Now, at $175, with all we can buy for a mere 160 Euros (dinner for two with decent wine), in a jazzy tone which befits Copelands, may I fool myself in pretending it’s an investment fund, sorta Scots widow?
I bought a like-new Copeland Eb for my daughter on the forum a few months ago for $140. Whether you have whoa, or not, I recommend being way cautious when you buy something and make sure that your really, really want it, need it, and plan to have a long term relationship with it.
Otherwise, don’t have your feelings hurt if you need to take a deep discount when you try to cash it out. I never do, have my feelings hurt, that is… I make many purchase mistakes and changes of plans, more than almost anyone, but I accept the consequences of my deeds, sell CHEAP, and move on… good luck.

The advice you give is surely worth pondering and very true.
Truth is…I am a bit confused as to why this came up tho. When I said “you guys are robbing me” I was just joking around. Everyone on the board knows by now that I always sell cheap…I think at this point I may become a legend! I always sell for at least half of what I paid cuz I figure that if I don’t want it there may be someone out there who DOES and who may not have the bucks to pay the full price. So I try to make SOME of my $$ back and make someone happy too. It works for me.
So, thank you for the lesson but I don’t really see how it is aimed at me in my humble attempt to sell my whistle…errr…except for that part about making sure you really want it and plan to have a lifetime relationship with it. That is heavy. This is WhOa…those rules do not apply to whOa. Would spoil all the fun of the addiction! LOL

Andrea, I have NO IDEA why I choose to post what I did. Sorry for the interruption. I must have been under the influence of something, sorry. Your whistle is a huge bargain, I would have purchased it in a New York minute. Copelands are beyond belief in regards to quality. I hope to own one myself some day!
