Continious playing

I’ve been learning the flute for a while now and am making a bit of progress, but I find that when I play a tune through more than once or twice , my mouth position seems to slip. If I stop and start again I seem to be alright for a bit longer, but can’t play the tune over and over again without a break.
Much more practise needed I suppose but has anybody else experienced this?

Yes. Unless you’ve been at it for years, it
should get better with practice. Best

I have a similar problem, which has been discussed on the board (try looking back to last summer, there were some good tips). I tend to lose my embouchure position when I take a breath. It’s getting better, but I have a beard now for the winter, which makes my lower lip slippery, thus I lose position easier. I think the only solution is practice, practice, practice.
