Does anyone know a concert band piece that features tin whistle? The name and composer would be most helpful.

It would be cool if someone picked a regular concert band song with a flute solo but made it a whistle solo instead.

Just write a whistle part into the piece your band is playing. You could play it and use the whistle as a baton inbetween. Maybe the kids will finally watch the stick!
I learned part of Maurice’s Jars music for Lawrence of Arabia. Use the whistle in the parts where they use a piccolo and it sounds great mixed in with all the other instruments. You can’t get more of concert type music than the soundtrack for lawrence of arabia or better music for that matter. Check it out because the music and the movie are equally great.
You might try the theme from Patton. The picolo part sounds cool on the whistle.
