Any suggestions for a computer microphone? I’m on a Mac but the only one I saw was cross platform.

Most any microphone will be cross-platform (other than a USB mic). Are you going to be recording with it, or is it only for voice transmission?
Really, either way there’s a good rule of thumb. You get what you pay for. The cheap computer mics you find at electronic stores are good for recording voices, and some singing (if you sing loud). But to get a good sound, you’re going to need a good mic.
I’ve heard the Sony FV-120 is pretty good, and it runs about $15-$20US.
