
I saw that on the bad astronomer’s blog the other day. It’s not confirmed to be a planet yet, I don’t think. Leastways it wasn’t on Monday. Whether it proves to be a planet 8 times the size of Jupiter or something else (say perhaps a very small star that just happened to be there, which is statistically unlikely) should prove interesting.
